Lauren graduated from Western Michigan University in 2005 with a BBA in Supply Chain Management. She started her career working for a domestic third-party logistics provider on-sight at Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corp. Lauren then took a job with a global logistics provider at their headquarters in southeast Michigan. In January 2009, Bergquist asked her to bring her logistics expertise to the family distribution business. Bob began his career at a local public accounting firm in Ann Arbor, MI attaining his license as a Certified Public Accountant. He was made a principal in the firm of Loy, Park & Barry in 1984. In July of 1986, Bob’s father-in-law, Larry Hinkley, purchased Bergquist, Inc. - a wholesale distributor of propane gas equipment. Bob soon joined Larry at Bergquist as Controller. Upon Larry’s retirement in 1995, Bob became Bergquist President and CEO. During his tenure, Bergquist has grown from a single, small distribution center to a large, national distributor of propane equipment with over 50 employees and 5 facilities. Joe joined Bergquist as Regional Sales Manager in 2012. He began his career in 1993 as Manager of Member and Industry Services for the National Propane Gas Association. He has also held sales positions in the propane industry with Chemi-Trol Tank Company and American Welding and Tank. He has a BA in Communications from Michigan State University. Dale began his propane career in 1978 as a bobtail driver in Toledo, OH. Since then, he's held positions with various propane marketers as branch manager in the Washington, D.C. area, middle-manager in northern New Jersey, and marketing representative in northwest Ohio. Dale joined Bergquist in 1997 as an Inside Sales Representative before becoming Area Sales Manager for the Ohio/Pennsylvania terrirtory. He became Director of Inside Sales in 2011. Andy began his Bergquist career at the Toledo, OH distribution center in 2005 before joining Parker Hannifan in 2012. He then worked for Newell Brands as a distribution supervisor and was soon promoted to operations manager, overseeing all aspects of inbound, outbound, and transportation functions at their Bowling Green, OH facility. Andy gratuated from the University of Toledo with a BBA in Supply Chain Management. He is yellow and green-belt certified in Lean Six Sigma. Please contact Andy at Andy.stearns@bergquistinc.com.
Scott began his propane career in 1989 with Tr-Gas Distrbuting in Traverse City, MI. He joined Bergquist as an Inside Sales Representative at the Bowling Green, KY distribution center before becoming Area Sales Manager for the Kentucky/Tennessee/West Virginia territory. Don joined Bergquist in 2007 as Area Sales Manager for the Michigan territory. Prior to that, he worked in the automotive industry in metro Detroit. Don has a BA in Psychology from Michigan State University and an MBA with a marketing concentration from Western Michigan University. He was promoted to Vice President of Marketing in 2020. Bruce joined Bergquist in 1992. He is a second-generation gasser with over 50 years of propane industry experience. He is Past President of the Michigan Propane Gas Association and former Chairman of the NPGA’s Education, Training, and Safety Committee.
