Chicago Fittings Presents Next Generation of X-Riser®
As the propane industry continues to evolve, so too do the solutions customers have access to. This year, at the National Propane Gas Association Expo (NPGA) in Atlanta, Bergquist, Inc., the industry leader in wholesale propane equipment distribution, is introducing the new CFlexliner™ from Chicago Fittings at Booth 407.
Chicago Fittings’ X-Riser® is a product aimed at removing a minimum of two below grade joints per riser when compared to that of a standard pigtail style anodeless riser. The X-Riser® is an underground, jointless, flexible pipe that eliminates the risk associated with below grade joints. The introduction of the new CFlexliner™ has updated the product with features to increase ease of installation and accessibility for the customer.
“We are eager to showcase the CFlexliner™ at NPGA to demonstrate its improvements and value to our customers,” said Don Heller, Vice President of Propane Technologies for Bergquist. “Bergquist is committed to providing high-quality products to ensure peace of mind for our customers while maximizing their bottom line.”
The CFlexliner™ exhibits greater flexibility than the traditional X-Riser®, allowing for more movement of the product once the polyethylene tubing has been fitted through, even in subzero temperatures. Along with this increased agility, the CFlexliner features less “shape memory,” meaning it relaxes to a straight position after being tightly coiled. This product model allows for polyethylene tubing to slide through even more effortlessly than with the X-Riser® and will assure coverage for the customer from main to meter.
“We want to ensure longevity of products, easing the day-to-day workloads for our customers,” said Heller. “We are grateful to companies like Chicago Fittings who provide us with excellent products so we can remain committed to our mission and vision of offering optimal customer service.”
